Curaçao Fintech Association
The Curaçao Fintech Association (CFA) is the first and only dedicated fintech industry association on the island of Curaçao.
Founded by leading fintech companies, CFA serves as the principal voice and collaborative platform for payments and related technology service providers, regulators and other stakeholders on the Island.
The CFA serves as a key partner to the Central Bank of Curaçao and Sint Maarten (CBCS), government institutions and other stakeholders in shaping effective laws, regulations, and strategies for the development of the local financial market infrastructure.
It brings together established financial institutions, emerging fintech companies, and technology providers to foster collaboration, innovation, and economic growth. As a stakeholder platform, CFA facilitates dialogue on the opportunities, risks, and priorities within Curaçao’s digital finance ecosystem — helping to align innovation roadmaps and regulatory frameworks.
Through its expert contributions, CFA provides a local perspective on the implementation of technology in financial services, supports the development of compliant yet innovative solutions, and promotes Curaçao as a hub for responsible fintech advancement in the Caribbean.
