Reggie Martes is Head of Data & Statistics at the Centrale Bank van Curaçao en Sint Maarten (CBCS). Its main responsibility is to ensure the central bank possesses reliable data and robust statistical analyses to support decision-making and maintain monetary and financial stability.

Before being appointed Head, Reggie served as an Economic Analysis & Research Specialist, focusing on the real and monetary sectors. He conducted macroeconomic analyses and projections, drafted policy advice, and carried out economic research.

Prior to his tenure at CBCS, Reggie earned a master’s degree and built extensive experience in financial analysis, marketing, sales, and research through roles across banking, government, and consultancy sectors.

Beyond his professional endeavors, Reggie enjoys sports, particularly football, and traveling. He has also participated in numerous supplementary courses to enhance his expertise in central banking, macroeconomic forecasting, and management skills.
